Seagrass Footstool Weaving Workshop

Join Felicity Tran, traditional upholsterer and seat weaver, to learn this beautiful heritage craft. The one-day workshop is designed so you can complete your footstool and take it home to treasure at the end of the day. You will weave the gorgeous ‘Herringbone style’ pattern on a local artisan made beech wood frame with sustainable seagrass cord.

Felicity teaches in an engaging, friendly and informal way, with an emphasis on being productive. You can enjoy this mindful craft whilst chatting with your co attendees in the beautiful setting of Bowood. You will leave with a sense of immense achievement having made a piece of useable professional quality furniture.
